"THE ND EFFECT"
When I first moved to South Bend (more on that later in the week) I actually thought that this town could survive just as well without Notre Dame. Well, that thought was quickly put to rest.
Check out some of these numbers from an article in the South Bend Tribune.
- ND accounts for over $870 in economic activity in St. Joseph Country
- Approxiately 12,000 jobs in St. Joseph Country can be attributed to ND
- Did you know ND employs over 5,000 full- and part-time people?
I'm pretty sure South Bend and St. Joseph County need ND more than ND needs them.
