SALT, LIGHT & THE CHURCH
So I'm sitting in seminar today at Bethel and we are talking about Matthew 5:13-15 and being the salt and light of the earth. The professor made these two comments:
“The church should be hospital for sick sinners, not a museum for saints.”
“You don’t help a cancer patient by making him more comfortable with their cancer. In the same way, you don’t help a sinner by making them more comfortable in their sin.”
I was intrigued and wanted to pass them along.

I have to totally agree. The church is a place for people to come to for help and to help others.

So would that make the faithful doctors or nurses, or terminally ill patients?
