NFL - TWO WEEKS LEFT

* The Miami Dolphins are 9-5 and two wins away from the division title and a spot in the playoffs! This is one year after winning just one lonely game last season. They haven't given up a touchdown in three games. Let's hope the streak continues to five games and on Jan. 3/4 Dolphins Stadium is hosting a playoff game.

* Can the Cowboys please go away? Normally I could care less about America's Team but this is absurd. Jerry Jones is going to be the new Al Davis before all is said and done. Terrel Owens is a cry-baby and he actually has the ability to make people feel sorry for him from time to time. Can some team beat them so we don't continue this drama into the postseason.

* The Steelers/Ravens game was one of the best of the season. You don't need offense to make for good drama on the field.

* If Carolina beats the Giants on Sunday evening, they have my vote as the team to beat in the NFC in the playoffs.

* Peyton Manning and Co. are setting themselves up for a nice playoff run. Granted they will have to do it all on the road but this is a team no one in the AFC wants to play right now.

* Who's idea was it to let the Browns on Monday Night Football three times in 2008? They are embarrassing.

* The Lions will find a way to beat the Packers in week 17 to avoid an 0-16 record.

  • The Browns were on MNF three times because they were supposed to be better this year ... I believe that they did win the first 2 MNF games.

  • And the Browns would have been fun to watch if Brady wouldn't have gotten hurt. But you know I am way to biased on that point! :)
