KENNY ROGERS

Let me get into this whole "Kenny Rogers Debate" that has started from game 2 of the World Series. Just for a moment or so here ...

There are a few things that I don't understand:

1) Why didn't Tony LaRussa ask the umpire to inspect Rogers' hand when he notice that there was something on it? If something is wrong, why not inspect it?

2) How was it on his hand for inning and then "magically" gone the rest of the game? Did the same thing happen during the AL playoff games?

3) Regardless of what was on his hand during the first inning and not there the rest of game, he still made the Cardinal hitters look pretty foolish.

4) Why do we need all this cheating problem during baseballs biggest stage when the popularity of the game is already struggling?
