INTRODUCING TONY SPARANO
The rebuilding project that is the Miami Dolphins continues after hiring Tony Sparano as their new head coach. I am fairly excited about this hire. He can't be any worse then the previous four head coaches:
Cam Cameron (2007): 1-15
Nick Saban (2005-2006): 15-17
Jim Bates (2004): 3-4
Jim Wannstedt (2000-2004): 42-31
Granted Wannstedt had a decent run as the head guy but I never really believed he could lead the Dolphins into the Super Bowl. Well, he couldn't get them past the divisional round of the playoffs.
Miami now has a guy who was highly sought after this off-season and coached more than a handful of guys on the Cowboys offense the last few years. Besides if Bill Parcells gives him a boost of confidence then I do as well!
So the questions the Dolphins now have to answer is - what will they do with the No. 1 overall draft pick in April's draft? I really believe the right guys are in place to make this team a force again.
