ND - FROZEN FOUR!

Watching Notre Dame hockey has been quite a rollar coaster the past two years.

Last season they spent the better part of the year ranked as the nation's top ranked team as they won the conference regular season and tournament championships. Unfortunately, they bowed out in the NCAA Tournament one game short of the Frozen Four with a loss to Michigan State.

Flash forward to this year were they barely make the NCAA Tournament. They were the last at-large team selected. The Irish entered the NCAA's by winning just four of their final 13 games and had to face top seeded New Hampshire in the first round. So all they do in that game is tie their season high by scoring seven goals in the win in earning a rematch with Michigan State.

After playing MSU twice in the regular season were they posted a loss and a tie they pull off the upset and exact some revenge from last year. They are headed to the Frozen Four for the first time in school history!

Next up? Just a date with the nation's top ranked team and bitter rival - Michigan!
