This is perhaps the dumbest decision in the history of organized athletics. Even if the umpire isn't giving you the calls you think you deserve you don't take a purposeful dive so he get nailed in the head with a fastball. Dumb!

I am glad the catcher can't try-out for the college team anymore. Serves him right! One can only hope the possible court case rules in strong favor of the umpire.

Umpires do the best they can. They are human to. They won't get every call right but they don't deserve this kind of punishment. I'm glad the players got caught in this dumb little idea.
