JESUS WANTS TO SAVE CHRISTIANS
Rob Bell has done it again!
His first book was mind opening. His second book was extremely thought provoking. His third book is just brilliant. A work of art if you will.
This is a book about theology. He is pretty straight forward in letting the reader know that. In fact, ever since I was introduced to Rob Bell four (or so) years ago that’s pretty much what he is all about. He makes the Bible come alive in ways that will probably make you uncomfortable while effectively challenging you to live a life that advances the Kingdom of God.
The book is written in short one sentence paragraphs.
Thus making it quick to read.
However, his points really stand out using this method.
Can you hear the cries of the oppressed?
What will you do about those living in oppression?
The Bible is filled with stories about God hearing their cries and helping them.
You get the feeling that he has a lot more to say on the whole idea of redemption and what it means to truly live a life that brings people out of exile. However, he gets across his points very clearly and powerfully.
Jesus Wants to Save Christians as well as the church.
