WORLD POPULATION

I think it might be time to be more missionally minded. Check out these world population based on one billion and the year:

First Billion on Earth - 1804
Next Billion - 1927
Next Billion - 1961
Next Billion - 1974 (4 billion people)
Next Billion - 1987
Next Billion - 1999 (6 billion people)
Next Billion - 2011 (approx.)

Think about it - it took 1,804 years (give or take) to get 1 billion people on the earth. In about 200 years we added roughly 5.5 billion people. Every 11-13 years the world adds another billion people.

Matthew 28:19-20 -- Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
